One of major projects in China & Serbia Cooperation Framework Agreement, the largest energy project in Serbia in recent three decades, Serbian KOSTOLAC-B Power Plant Second Phase, 1×350MW supercritical coal fire power generator successfully passed the 168+96 hour reliability test. HBIS Wusteel delivered its high-end petrochemical steel plates are used in the manufacture of high temperature heaters, boilers and other key parts.

HBIS Wusteel has been implementing the strategies of engaging markets and clients, more focusing on market and client oriented petrochemical single champion products and developing top high width & thickness plates. To meet the demands of Serbian project, the teams executed the CE Standards of EU in the R&D and manufacturing procedures. Due to the natures of high demands in the key structures the project, the sales, technological and production units were assigned to the team to engage the contractors to fully understand the personalized requirements and translate to optimized procedures and quality control procedures. After delivery, HBIS teams followed the equipment manufacturing procedures and provided client services.

Serbian KOSTOLAC-B Power Plant Second Phase is a major project in China & Serbia Cooperation Framework Agreement. It is equipped with a 350MW supercritical coal firepower unit, which the first such unit a Chinese company exports to Mid-East European country. The unit will assist the high-quality economic and social development of Serbia and is of great significance to promoting the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Serbia, further deepening and upgrading the comprehensive strategic partnership, and building a China & Serbia community with a shared future in the new era.
